baby faced and pelican cased

(new project: fix holes, paint, mount on bike)

I shaved my face for the first time in a couple years this past week to better present myself for a job interview. Now it acts as a reminder as to why I don't shave. Not only did I cut the shit out of myself (holler at my scabbed adams apple) but it caused my face to break out and now I have three new "blemishes" to call my own. Not that it matters since tomorrow I will be shovelling shit around. Brad was kind enough to hire me in place of one of the mexicans that wait on the street corners trying to get work for the day.

Speaking of baby faces, I talked to Craig for a hot second today and its good to hear that his super stressful move out of the space he's been living for the past million years is behind. He's going to be up in Portland for the north american handmade bicycle show with Jeremy and Igleheart, Jeremy launching his new embrocation magazine, and Igleheart selling hot bike frames. I talked to Travis of freight baggage and it looks like he'll also be up there showing off some custom panniers and supporting friends. Have fun gents, I wish I could go!

Otherwise I'm still getting my new place situated, now that AC moved the rest of his stuff out (except for the weight bench which I get to borrow til he gets a new spot!) Here is what my klr is looking like with its new racks and the decals removed:
