I tried to update my iphone a couple weeks ago and lost all of my contacts, pics etc. since the last time I synced to my computer....(september!!) All of my spy photos and documented tomfoolery down the drain. The "mac genius" couldn't explain why it happened, but could explain that I would be out of luck recovering anything.
Please learn from my mistakes and either a. avoid buying an overpriced piece of convenience wizardry, or b. sync that shit more frequently. And if you aren't hearing from me, this is probably why.
