Bella was kind enough to lend me her Ducati for the day, so Brad and I took off for a few hours and road up the 1. Such an amazing stretch of pavement with plenty of twisties to keep your attention. When we exited the trees before hitting the coast, there was a wall of fog that completely obscured our view of the ocean that was just off the cliff to the left. After a few turns up the road, you look back and see this massive wall of fog, and to the right of it, the expanse of the ocean dissolving into the horizon. I wish I had a picture to convey what words cannot adequately describe. I enjoyed being on a sportbike again, and for the last half of the ride, got to ride Brad's new Dakar which was as comfortable as a couch. There were a million people out on bikes (motorized and non) and unlike the east, everyone waves when you ride by! Imagine!
the usual spread of crappy iphone pics....

Saw "there will be blood" and "hearts of darkness" over the past couple days. Both films I liked. Had the best meal so far in SF at little nepal. I had never eaten Nepalese and was excited to try it. Since it combines a little of Indian and Tibetan, it ended up being delicious. Good service, good atmosphere, not expensive, check it out when you can.
