fudge mom

One big plus of visiting slc is my wonderful mother and the fudge she makes. It doesn't stop there however. I have been eating bowls of danish ris alamand and trays of cookies (also with almonds.) Today, we tore into a marzipan cake in celebration of my brother's return. Fatty pants over here should have brought his running shoes. No, fuck that its cold as shit out and I'd rather curl up in front of the fireplace that starts by pushing a button. I did buy a running hat for 10 bucks though...it'll get used later.

The halls of the salt palace convention center were alive with the sound of technical garments swishing as people brushed shoulders and meandered booth to booth. My mission at outdoor retailer was to score a mont bell down jacket. As luck would have it on the last day, they decided to sell off their displays, all of which were my size. Super limited US distribution means that I have never been able to get what I wanted anytime I've looked, and they weren't in Massachusetts. (their shit is cut for the Japanese and fits my skinny ass perfectly; pretend you care.) If you need anything dope and light for adventuring or just looking like a Japanese street kid, check em out. And if you are in slc and need anything outdoors-y go to IME which is the most legit shop in town. They have a used gear consignment room which is worth the trip alone and the staff knows everything.

One of my friends from the BR days is living large in DC and has a rad blog worth adding to your list. Marissa is hot and smart so if you live in DC hook it up! the anti dc

Mr. Greg Beson got some press with some of the Winter Camp shows he has been throwing and I have been missing. Caught one living room show over the summer and wish I was around to witness them all. Keep it up kiddies!

Wow, an official shout out! That's so blog-o-riffic...and my use of "blog-o-riffic" is my cue to go stab myself.

But before I do that, I'll say that I thoroughly am enjoying the title of this post. The word fudge is just plain funny.
