Rich is moving to SF this monday! I'm hoping this starts a chain reaction of good boston kids migrating. Of my past years spent in boston, Rich is one of the people who has impacted my life most. I still remember the day we went to cambridge bicycle to pick out the pieces for my first fixed gear bike. Danny P found an orange miyata road frame on the side of the road, and this became the platform. The original saavedra cranks had dope black drilled out chainrings and lasted until a halloween race in new york, when the non-drive side arm snapped. I will always look back on the days of the terrordrome crew with fondness.
Went to a modular party on wednesday at 1015 folsom that had a cool ceiling and not much in the way of attendance. Jay made card houses out of stickers and flyers, and the rest of us sat and watched.

Spent thursday biking around with no agenda after eating breakfast at st. francis. Favorite breakfast in the city so far! Met up with Faith then went to a park and chilled out. Finally met Travis from freight baggage, after talking on the phone with the man for over a year. What a solid dude. We started drinking at the hemlock about 5ish, were drunk by 7, and road around while our crew snowballed at another bar, then ended up at some art show. Kids out here are super chill. My friday night was spent at a bmx race track in santa clara, and I had no idea how much fun I was in for. I'm hooked! Having 3 bmx tracks within a hour of the city is something I have never been privy to, and it's a shit ton cheaper than most race entry fees. (2 bucks last night!) If I really needed an excuse to wear a full face helmet, this would be the ticket. I can only imagine how good my handling skills are going to look after a weekly dosage of trying to not fly off my bike into the hard packed dirt. Come out to the white trash playground!
